Catbib is excellent

Love this solution. My cat was a scourge of the little birds in my garden until I discovered Catbib 3 years ago and he hasn’t caught one since. It’s his signature style in my village - occasionally it gets pulled off, but I find it in my letterbox. I frequently forget to remove it at night, but he just flicks it over is shoulder and sleep’s unperturbed. On sunny days, he flips it over his eyes and sleeps under its shade😂😂 The collar is fabulous too.

Thanks for this nice review. I'm glad the CatBib is working well for you. I've not heard of them being used as a sun shade before so that's a first!

...now you see me!

Our two black cats are beautiful but deadly. We were absolutely fed up with their killing of birds and small reptiles around our gardens. Thanks to the cat bib, we are now able to see them both hiding in the gardens and hopefully the animals can see them just as easily. So far no kills but lots of failed lizard chases. They don't mind wearing them and happily walk, run, jump and climb trees as usual. Thank you CatBib for a great product.

Thanks for the feedback, good to hear. We know that the CatBib is less effective for protecting lizards than birds because lizards can't fly away, so the failed lizard chases you mention are encouraging news, especially at this time of year when the lizards are becoming more active as the weather warms up.

The best invention!!!

We have made multiple purchases of the cat bibs, they are hands down the best inventions for keeping cat's instincts from harming birds.
In the years we have used them we have only had one bird caught, and that was a baby sitting out in the open.
If you're looking for a cheap solution then look no further! I can't recommend these bibs highly enough.

The Cat Bib is a life saver!

We have bought multiple Cat Bibs over the years and they have saved our cat. I say this because we live near the bush and amongst many small native mammals and beautiful birds. Our cat Leo was an obsessive hunter and can escape the house no matter what we do to keep him in. Without the Cat Bib we really could not have kept him. Years of use seems to have even curbed his desire to hunt.

Wearing one doesn't bother Leo at all and he anticipates it being put on each morning. It's been a talking point in the neighborhood and has led to other local cats adorning their own colourful Cat Bib. Win-win! Thank you.

Thanks for your feedback and long term support. I think you're right in that even determined hunters will give up the effort after a while wearing the CatBib as their efforts prove futile - we've heard the same thing many times over the years.

The Bird destroyer has stopped!

Our new cat addition to the family who was a stray kitten was playing absolute havoc to our native birds at our farm, sometimes three birds a day/night. It got to the point where he was locked inside at night but meant we got little sleep due to his antics. After seeing the bib online I decided to give it a go. After making a slight adjustment to how low the bib hangs we have now not had any birds caught/killed. This is a massive relief. He sometimes wears the bib all day/night without any concerns and in fact does not seem to be bothered by it. I have a supply on standby as he notoriously loses collars, and will continue to restock up on the collar and bib as and when required. I would throughly recommend the bib to anyone. The secret is getting the bib to hang at the right length to prevent them from hunting. A must have if your cat is destroying the bird population!

Thanks for the review.
Keeping cats indoors at night doesn't stop them hunting, it just changes the mix of prey. More birds in the daytime, more small mammals at night.
You're quite right aboout the positioning of the bib. To be fully effective it needs to hang in front of the cat's chest and not slide around over the shoulder when the cat runs - this is just a case of having the collar tight enough to prevent slipping - one finger between the cats neck and collar is aboout right and comfy for the cat.
Glad to hear your destroyer has been dressed not to kill any more birds!
