very happy

Love them - the cat makes them fall off/loses them so I always order more

Thanks for the reviiew Jennnifer, glad you're happy. Try writing your name / phone number on the back of the bib with a marker pen - it's surprising how often that seems them returned. A few cats learn to stand on the bib then stretch up and back to open the Velcro tabs and get the bib off - maybe yours is one of those escape artists!

Cat got it off and killed a bird within 2hrs

I got the larger bib and the collar for my cat and was so excited for it to arrive and hopefully help prevent our cat from killing birds. I immediately put it on him when it arrived and he came back 2 hours later with the collar on but no bib and when I went looking for it I found a fresh pile of feathers. Never found the bib so was a completely wasted purchase. I would give it another go if the way in which it attached to the collar was more secure but unfortunately it’s way too easy for him to get off.

Hi Kate,
That's rotten luck and as you can see from all the other reviews it's certainly not a common occurrence. The Velcro fastening is normally secure and does not come apart too easily but it is an important safety feature and designed to prevent a cat becoming trapped if the bib gets snagged. Not sure what happened with your cat, sometimes neighbours remove bibs and a few cats learn to tread on the bib and stretch back until the Velcto releases, but these are uncommon.
Anyway, I'm sending you another bib in the mail today and hope you will try again and have better luck this time. Meanwhile please accept our apologies for the bad experience you had the first time.

No birds killed

We live in a property with our cats. They wear the bibs all the time and I bought them before we brought the cats home. We have had no dead birds or wildlife in over 2 years. I have bought the bigger bins as they have gotten older. I have a supply of the bibs and collars as occasionally the collar and bib comes off as they are trying to get through a fence. This means I can pop another bib on whilst looking for the original one.

Thanks for the review Judith and for being such a good customer. 'No birds killed' is just what we like to hear!

upgrade to big catbib

Following up on my upgrade, the big catbib has nailed it, my cat has mostly stopped its hunting and now spends the day sleeping in the garden with its hi vis big bib. It occasionally can rotate the bib so it sits to the side or on its back if it rolls in the dirt but the bib finds its way back to the front. Hoping my blue wrens come back.

Thanks Nigel, good to hear that the larger size did the trick. To prevent the bib rotating around to the back try tightening the collar a notch or two - that usually works. The collar should be tight enough to allow one finger to slide easily between collar and cats neck for comfort. Hope the blue wrens come back!

Life Saver for birds!

CATBIB has saved many birds and bandicoots. My cat takes every opportunity to escape so has bib on all day.
