Big CatBib

Thanks for the 5 star review Anna! The Murdoch University trial showed only around a thrid reduction in predation of frogs and lizards as against about 85% for birds which can fly away if the first attack misses, so it's good to hear that the Big Bib is working for the lizards in your bacxk yard.

It works allright, we wouldn't sell it otherwise! Glad you're happy, makes us happy too.
Trimming a little of the bib to suit the size of the cat is fine, it won't stop it working properly.

The fault here lies with your cats collar which has released causing loss of both collar and bib. Possibly your collar was the quick release break away type and some of those break quite easily which is why we don't use them, preferring the elastic insert type which is more secure.
Anyway, it's bad luck so I will send you a replacement bib but suggest you couple it with the elastic insert type of collar like ours and hopefully it will do the trick. Try writing your name / phone number on the back of the bib with a marker pen - often lost ones get returned that way, and be aware that some well meaning neighbors will remove them.
We generally expect bibs to last about 2 years or so, not 20 minutes, and some have been in constant use for a decade so please don't give up!

Thanks for the review. All thiis time, fifteen years, we've been selling the CatBib to save birds from cats but never before heard that it maybe saved a cat from a bird. There was some speculation in the early days that wearing the bib may reduce fighting with other cats because it makes a cat look big and scary. Not proven but perhaps that's what deterred your eagle. Great story anyway!

From what you say it was the new collar, not one of ours, which came off taking the bib with it.
Some snap release safety collars are prone to opening too easily and result in lost bibs which is why we prefer the elastic insert type. This is explained on the collars page on our websiite.
I am sending a replacement bib for you today FOC. I suggest you use it with an elastic insert type collar and hope you have better luck this time. Meanwhile, sorry you lost the first one but please don't give up on using the CatBib to save the birds!
